UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

ServSafe Class

Campus News: The ServSafe Class is a food safety training required by the Mississippi State Department of Health for anyone serving food to the public.

The UM Nutrition Clinic will hold a public ServSafe Class on August 29, 2018. This is the food safety training/certification that is required by the Mississippi State Department of Health.  In order to meet this requirement, any person or business serving food to the public must have a minimum of 1 person per every 8-hour shift who is ServSafe certified. At the end of this 1-day (8 hours) class, students will take the exam for certification. The cost of the class, book, and exam is $150. Pre-registration is required.   If you would like to register or need more information about the class, please contact the University of Mississippi Nutrition Clinic at 662-915-8662.
