UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Using DMPTool to Write Your Data Management Plan

This workshop will provide:

  • a top-level overview of datamanagement plans
  • walkthrough of DMPTool

 

DMPTool is an online aplication that helps researchers created data management plans (DMPs). It provides a click-through approach for creating a DMP that complies with funder requirements. It is template-driven and includes suggested language and guiding questions provided by DMP, funders, and/or UM LIbraries.

 

List of funders for which templates are available: https://dmptool.org/public_templates. Please note that general, funder-agnostic templates are available as well.
