UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES


The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Music in the Time of Shakespeare: Celebrating the Publication of the 1623 Folio

 

Please join the Mockingbird Early Music Ensemble in celebrating the 400th anniversary of the printing of William Shakespeare’s First Folio (1623) in a program featuring music from the time of the Bard. The ensemble will perform works by composers such as William Byrd, Thomas Morely, Anthony Holborne, Orlando Gibbons, and others on period instruments. Archives and Special Collections will display it’s copy of Shakespeare’s Second Folio (1632), formerly owned by Edwin Booth, at the event.
