Doctoral and master's students from departments across the Oxford campus present their work in three minutes or less, supported by a single static slide. 

A judging panel of community members and campus leaders will score the presenters on their comprehension & content and their engagement & communication. 

First and second place winners will be determined from the doctoral and master's level, respectively, but there will be an overall winner who will advance to the regional competition hosted by the Conference of Southern Graduate Schools in Greenville, SC March 13-15, 2024.  There will also be a People's Choice, where the audience gets to vote for their favorite presenter.

In honor of the University of Mississippi's 175th Anniversary, there will be a networking opportunity imnediately following the competition.

It's a great event which showcases the great research and study being conducted on our UM campus.  We hope that you will join us in cheering on our finalists.  Everyone in attendance will have a chance to win a ticket to the football game against Texas A&M, compliments of Dean Kluck.
