The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Dr. Cassandra Hawkins will invite attendees to immerse themselves in the intricate landscape of southern foodways, examined through the perspective of the ICN Child Nutrition Archives and its recent collaboration with the Southern Plate exhibition at the University of Mississippi. The discussion will illuminate the profound intersections of food with historical, societal, and cultural frameworks. The crucial significance of child nutrition within this context will also be underscored. The presentation will conclude with a formal invitation for participants to contribute to the Legacy Voices initiative, a distinguished endeavor aiming to chronicle and preserve the timeless narratives of our culinary heritage.
