The Center for Practical Ethics pursues ethics and policy research and education at Ole Miss and beyond. We invite select undergraduates to participate in this mission, especially in its research aspect and in preparation for our yearly Policy Talks event.
Circle Fellows are high performing UM undergraduates with strong research skills who are interested in practically informed policy solutions to real world ethical issues. We invite applications from motivated students of all years and majors who want to contribute to thoughtful, functional, and justice-focused solutions.
Circle Fellows develop connections with industry professionals, politicians, and academics. They become more effective as researchers, presenters, and policy developers with the support of TCPE’s faculty and staff. Ultimately the Circle Fellows constitute a network of talented and like-minded UM alumni pursuing the common goal of putting ethics into practice across their diverse fields.
Circle Fellows are expected to contribute an average of three hours of work per week toward researching and preparing materials for the next Policy Talks and related events. They complete specific, skillful projects which will contribute to their experience and competitiveness coming out of college.
The Center for Practical Ethics covers all relevant research and travel expenses for our fellows, ensuring that they have what they need to pursue their goals.
