Join campus recreation in our small group training programs designed for beginners wanting to learn the basics of weightlifting and become more comfortable in a fitness center environment. Our three offerings: Women on Weights, Men on Weights, Everyone on Weights will provide a learning environment built to progress with participants’ fitness levels. The sessions will involve an overview of basic movements that will allow participants to maximize their weightlifting experience. The instructors and trainers will teach the participants about safety, form, and alignment while motivating them in a positive, healthy environment. They will also educate participants on basic knowledge of the equipment and fitness spaces available in each campus recreation facility. No previous weightlifting experience is needed to participate.
