The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program used to organize data . This session will introduce attendees to basic features, including:

  • Common terminology (e.g., worksheet, workbook, cell, formula)
  • Menu bars
  • Data input
  • Inserting new rows and columns
  • Moving data (e.g., copying and pasting rows/columns)
  • Formulas (e.g., common mathematical operations like addition, subtraction, multiplcation, and division)
  • Cell references (i.e., location of the data on the spreadsheet)
  • Cell formatting
  • Sorting data

You are not required to attend other sessions in the Microsoft Workshop Series.
