UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Love Data Week: Data Cleanup with Python

Join us for International Love Data Week and learn how to give your messy data some love. Join Dr. Watson to learn how to import and clean rectangular (e.g., spreadsheet) data using Python. We will explore common functions from Pandas, a popular package for working with rectangular data. 

All are welcome, whether you have used Python before or simply want to observe the utility of Python for data cleanup.
