Liz Ames will host a lecture and masterclass on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Dr. Ames is a Lecturer of Collaborative Piano at the University of Michigan and a performing collaborative pianist. She is passionate about performing and working with instrumentalists, vocalists, composers, and her duo partner Timothy McAllister.
Timothy McAllister, a two-time Grammy-winning saxophonist, will host a masterclass on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in Nutt Auditorium. A dedicated teacher, McAllister is a Professor of Saxophone at The University of Michigan School of Music. He is the soprano chair of the renowned PRISM Quartet and one of the world’s most celebrated classical saxophonists.
The McAllister and Ames duo will conclude their University of Mississippi visit with a Project Encore Recital in Nutt Auditorium on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.
