UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Ford Center Studio A, Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oxford Campus, Studio A is located in the Ford Center. Upon entry from the parking lot, it is on the right in the lobby.

UM Opera Theatre, in collaboration with the LOU Symphony orchestra, presents Benjamin Britten’s The Turn of the Screw in the Studio Theatre of the Gertrude C. Ford Center on April 26 at 7:30 and April 28 at 3:00. Tickets are $5 for students/faculty/staff and $10 general admission. Performed in English. 

Based on the 1898 Henry James novella, a young governess to two orphaned children protects her young charges from spirits in an isolated Victorian manor.  Dr. Selim Giray conducts, Directed by Dr. Bonita Bunt, Musical Direction by Prof. Amanda Johnston, Scenic Design by Mathew Zerangue, Lighting Design by Annalise Candle, Costume Design by Ashley Moss, Stage Managed by Raey Bagley.
