Lavender Graduation is an annual event hosted by the Center for Inclusion and Cross Cultural Engagement in honor of LGBTQIA+ graduating undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. At the event, graduating students will be honored with lavender cords and remarks from faculty, staff, and students. A casual reception will follow. This year's Lavender Graduation will be held on Thursday, May 2 at 5:00pm in the Ballroom at the Inn at Ole Miss. Deadline to register for the event is Friday, April 26.
Graduating students can register at this link. Students who are not yet graduating, as well as faculty, staff, and family, are welcome and encouraged to attend in support of the graduates. Guests may RSVP here.
