The essentials you need to make sure your advance planning is in place: wills, advanced directives for health care, even a new dementia planning tool. No matter your age, it feels good to know you've made your wishes known.
Come and learn for yourself, or to help someone else in your life.
Perfect for new parents, those contemplating retirement, caregivers, and anyone at any age who wants to be sure their wishes will be carried out.
We'll start with lunch, then Al Cuturini from North Mississippi Rural Legal Clinic's Elder Law program will step through the important end-of-life planning tools you need to get your affairs in order. An excellent speaker with deep understanding and experience, Al will answer questions, as well.
The workshop is free and lunch is included, but please RSVP to Lynn at lwilkins@olemiss.edu so we'll have enough food.
NOV 13 FOLLOW-UP: for people over 60 (or 59 or under who also meet income requirements), Al will be back on campus taking individual meetings to help you finalize your documents. November 13 from 12:00-3:00 at the Jackson Avenue Center 133. Sign up here. More information will be available at the 10/30 workshop.
This workshop is presented by the UM Caregiver Resource Network and North Mississippi Rural Legal Clinic's Elder Law Program.
