UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

It is exciting that our first MMA day of this school year will be on Friday, 11/1. This is our third year to have a fall visit day.

It is an opportunity for prospective students to audition, but more importantly a chance for them to visit and get to know UM Music. Whether someone is in high school (9-12 grade), at a community college or other university they are encouraged to attend. They don't have to be a definitive music major (future minors and non-majors are welcome too!). 

The Showcase and Master Class are open to all to attend! Please spend your midday with Music!

  • 10:00am Attend Class or Take a Tour of the Department
    • Fundamentals of Keyboarding, Dr. Atkinson, Room 225 
    • Music Department tour, depart from the Conference Room

  • Noon Attend Rehearsal
