UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Brown Bag: Jing has has produced independent films, videos for WIRED Magazine, and is currently an artist in residence at Crosstown Arts in Memphis.

Jing Niu is a first generation Asian-American who grew up working in take-out restaurants in the south who would later, against the advice of her parents, become an artist and filmmaker. Jing has created several independent films, produced videos for WIRED Magazine, and is a member of AWMA (Asian Mamas Working in the Arts). Currently, Jing is an artist in residence at Crosstown Arts in Memphis, TN, where she is developing a new webseries. To see more of Jing's work visit her website at: https://jing-niu.com
