UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Astronomy Open House: View of the Moon, planets and the sky with the telescopes of Kennon Observatory. Families and children are welcome. Free.

We are offering the public a view of the stars, Moon and planets using the telescopes of kennon Observatory on Sunday night 5:00-7:00 pm. Mars, Uranus, and Neptune are visible.

Children are welcome, and the event is free. 

In case the sky is cloudy, we have to cancel though.
